HIPAA-Compliant Patient Portal: Escaping Legacy Health Tech

The clinic network was tethered to an archaic, slow, and non-intuitive patient portal provided by their EMR vendor. It caused endless patient complaints and required immense administrative overhead to manage.

We decoupled the patient experience from the legacy EMR. We built a beautiful, consumer-grade Next.js frontend that communicated securely with the EMR via custom APIs. All infrastructure was deployed in a strict, HIPAA-compliant AWS environment.

Patient satisfaction scores skyrocketed. The clinic regained control of their brand experience and patient data, freeing themselves from the vendor's terrible UI and extortionate add-on fees.
